Description
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking a contractor to provide preventative maintenance services for 41 Kardex Remstar Vertical Storage Units (VSUs) at the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS) facility. The contractor will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, such as checking safety systems, lubricating chains, and cleaning extractor glides. The contract will have a base period of 12 months, with three optional 12-month periods. The contractor must have experience working with Kardex Remstar VSUs and must be able to provide preventative maintenance services in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
• The contractor will be required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control to perform the preventative maintenance services.
• The contractor must have a favorable background investigation and must comply with all security requirements.
• The contractor must be able to provide a written report for each unit within 10 working days of the preventative maintenance procedure.
• The contractor must be able to provide preventative maintenance services for a period of 48 months, with options to extend the contract for an additional 36 months.
