The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District is conducting market research for a “Scope‑Dredge to Budget” (SDtB) contract to perform maintenance dredging on multiple Texas harbors and waterways during FY‑27. This Sources‑Sought notice seeks firms that possess dredging equipment, bonding capacity, and recent large‑scale dredging experience. Respondents must submit capability statements, equipment documentation, bonding letters, socio‑economic certifications, and past‑performance details for two projects over $25 M. The eventual contract will be a single‑award, budget‑capped agreement with up to five qualified offerors advancing to a Phase‑2 RFP.
• Target locations: Sabine‑Neches Waterway, Galveston Harbor, Houston Ship Channel, Texas City, Freeport, Matagorda, Corpus Christi, Brazos Island, Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, and several ancillary channels.
• Required equipment: hopper, pipeline, or mechanical dredges capable of depths ranging from –16 ft to –60 ft MLLW and transport distances up to ~35 mi.
