RFQ Architectural & Engineering Services of Centreville Middle School

The Queen Anne's County Board of Education is seeking architectural and engineering firms to provide design services for the replacement of Centreville Middle School. The new school will be a Net-Zero facility, incorporating a geothermal HVAC system and a roof-mounted photovoltaic system. The project includes the design of shared spaces, adaptation to a restrictive building site, and incorporation of sustainable design features. The selected firm will be responsible for providing design concepts, documentation, and construction administration services. Key aspects of the project include: • Designing a Net-Zero facility with a geothermal HVAC system and a roof-mounted photovoltaic system • Incorporating shared spaces and adapting to a restrictive building site • Providing sustainable design features and energy-efficient systems • Coordinating with local, state, and federal authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals • Assisting the Owner in seeking additional grant opportunities • Registering the project for LEED certification and pursuing a minimum of LEED Silver certification
