Construction Manager at Risk for Garner MW Building

The Iowa Department of Transportation is seeking a Construction Manager at Risk (CMaR) for the construction of a new Mechanical and Wash Bay (MW) building at the Garner DOT complex. The project includes site work, construction of a new 4,960 SF building, and installation of new utilities. The CMaR will be responsible for managing the construction process, including pre-construction services, bidding, and contract management. The project is expected to be completed by August 15, 2027. • The CMaR will work with the Iowa DOT and the architectural team to develop a construction schedule and budget. • The CMaR will be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. • The CMaR will provide regular progress reports to the Iowa DOT and the architectural team. • The CMaR will be responsible for ensuring that all work is done in accordance with the plans and specifications. • The CMaR will be responsible for managing the project's quality control and assurance program.
