Description
Gwinnett County Public Schools is soliciting competitive sealed bids from qualified suppliers for the purchase of Campus Core Switches for the school system. The school system has over 140 schools and enrollment of over 182,000 students. The contract term is effective July 1, 2026, or upon award, through June 30, 2027, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods. The award will be made to the supplier submitting the lowest responsive and responsible bid. The district requires pricing to remain firm for the duration of the initial term of the contract.
• The use of brand name(s) is not for restrictive purposes, but to establish an acceptable level of quality that the district is seeking.
• An “equivalent” product is one that meets or surpasses the specification.
• Any products submitted as "equivalent" will need to meet the District’s standards, and those not considered true equivalents may be disqualified.
• The district may decide that the item needs to be re-bid if an error has occurred in the product specified and suppliers fail to notify the district about the discrepancies.
