Low and Medium Voltage Breaker Maintenance and Rebuilding Services

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified contractor to perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment services for its low and medium voltage breakers at various power generation facilities. The goal is to ensure all breakers are operating reliably, safely, and in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, licensed supervision, manpower, and all incidentals necessary to perform services in accordance with manufacturer specifications. • The contractor must have experience working with OEMs such as General Electric, Siemens, Eaton, and Westinghouse. • The contractor must be able to perform tests such as insulation resistance, vacuum bottle integrity, secondary injection, contact resistance, and timing analysis. • The contractor must be able to provide detailed, itemized maintenance reports for each breaker. • The contractor must be able to provide quotes for non-emergency repairs and await written approval prior to proceeding. • The contractor must be able to submit invoices with corresponding OWNER work order number and detailed documentation.
