Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources to provide preventative maintenance service for SPS sterilization equipment manufactured by Belimed at the Portland VAMC. The equipment includes steam sterilizers, clean steam generators, washer/disinfectors, and a cart washer. The contract will require the contractor to provide maintenance and repair services, including quarterly steam chamber cleanings, and to furnish all necessary personnel, materials, and equipment. The contractor must also comply with Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPs) 201 for Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badging requirements and the Standards of Conduct on VA property.
• The contract is for a base year with 4 option years.
• The contractor must provide an OEM trained technician and customer support.
• The contractor must minimize disruption to customers and employees and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
