On-call Paving Services and Asphalt Repairs

The City of Santa Cruz is seeking qualified contractors to provide on-call paving services for asphalt and concrete repairs throughout the city and surrounding service areas. The work will be assigned on an as-needed basis and may include saw cutting, removal and disposal of existing pavement, subgrade preparation, base rock replacement, and paving with commercial-grade hot mix asphalt. The goal is to maintain safe, functional roadways through timely, high-quality repairs performed in coordination with various City departments. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary tools, equipment, materials, labor, transportation, supervision, and management to complete the work. • The contract will be for a one-year term with the option of two one-year term extensions. • The contractor must comply with the City's insurance requirements, prevailing wage laws, and living wage ordinance. • The contractor must also provide a cost proposal that includes all costs to provide the services outlined in the RFP.
