Description
Alabama Department of Mental Health is seeking qualified staffing agencies to provide temporary nursing personnel (Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses) to three state‑run facilities. The contractor must supply qualified, background‑checked nurses on a rapid‑response basis, manage orientation, and maintain ongoing supervision and performance monitoring throughout the contract period.
• Provide RN and LPN staff with at least one year of experience, valid Alabama licenses, CPR/first‑aid certification, and required background/drug/TB screenings.
• Respond to staffing requests within 48 hours; maintain 32‑40 hours/week per staffer, including weekend and holiday shifts.
• Deliver 24‑hour/7‑day administrative contact, ensure orientation/training compliance, and submit performance and competency reports per ADMH quality‑assurance requirements.
• Submit one original, one copy, and one USB drive of the proposal by the deadline; no electronic submissions accepted.
• Contract begins 1 Oct 2026, with award notification expected 10 Aug 2026, and the contract is expected to run for approximately one year.
