Trauma care training and designated trauma centers distribution

The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is seeking a vendor to provide injury prevention, trauma care training, and trauma care trust fund distribution services. The vendor will work with trauma centers to provide training and improvements in trauma data reporting, distribute trauma care trust funds to designated trauma centers and EMS operators, and provide ongoing educational obligations. The contract will be for a period of 10 months, from September 8, 2026, to June 30, 2027. The vendor must have prior experience in providing similar services, possess required certifications and licenses, and demonstrate financial stability. Some key responsibilities of the vendor include: • Providing quarterly training for new trauma program managers and registrars • Coordinating and providing ongoing quarterly training for trauma program managers and registrars • Working with trauma centers to improve trauma data reporting • Distributing trauma care trust funds to designated trauma centers and EMS operators • Providing reports to MSDH on activities completed in support of the trauma system
