Larry R. Jackson Branch Library Interior Renovation Project

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified and experienced state certified General Contractor to perform interior renovation work at the Larry R. Jackson Branch Library. The scope of work includes replacement and upgrading of light fixtures and renovation of public restrooms to ADA compliance, as well as the addition of a new single-user unisex restroom. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, temporary protection, tools, and materials necessary to complete the work. The city is looking for a contractor with experience in public-sector construction and renovation projects, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in an occupied space. • The contractor must have a valid state certification and registration as a General Contractor in the State of Florida. • The contractor must have a physical business location within 50 miles of the City of Lakeland. • The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience in projects of similar size, scope, and complexity. • The contractor must provide a detailed schedule of unit prices and a preliminary phasing and schedule plan. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including those related to safety and health.
