Description
The Regional Transit Authority of New Orleans is seeking a qualified vendor to replace the trolley‑lift cable system used for street‑car lifts at its facilities. The work includes removing the existing damaged cable and associated structural components, installing temporary support structures, fabricating and installing a new upright C‑channel post, supplying and installing a new cable set with hardware, performing pit cleaning using a vacuum‑truck, and conducting functional testing and acceptance inspection. The contract will be awarded on a fixed‑price, lowest‑responsive‑bid basis and requires compliance with Buy‑America, DBE, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
