Description
The United States Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz is seeking a contractor to repair two elevators, 2488 and 2489, in the canteen building 8311 at Baumholder. The project involves dismantling and disposing of old equipment, delivering and installing new control equipment, renewing and disposing of hydraulic oil, and performing painting and cleaning work. The contractor must also replace the cabin door drive and outer stainless door unit on elevator 2489. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with German DIN standards and VOB regulations. The contractor must also comply with anti-terrorism and operations security requirements, including completing AT Level I training and OPSEC Level I training.
