Description
The US Air Force is seeking a contractor to relocate one Giant Voice Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) from the 3rd floor of building 1108 to a new location. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision to safely power down, transport, re-install, and re-integrate the system. The objective is to ensure the RTU is restored to Full Operational Capability (FOC) in the new location. A site visit is mandatory for a quote to be considered technically acceptable. The contractor must personally inspect both the current and future locations of the unit to evaluate the existing infrastructure and take precise physical measurements for cable lengths and assess the available power utilities to ensure technical feasibility.
• The contractor must have experience with similar systems and be able to provide comprehensive post-move testing and optimization to verify system integrity.
• The contractor must be able to obtain base identification and vehicle passes for all visitors.
• The contractor must be aware of the federal laws and regulations regarding marijuana possession on federal installations.
