Description
The Hazel Park Schools is seeking bids for carpet replacement at United Oaks School. The project involves removing existing carpet, underlayment, and adhesive, and providing and installing new flooring. The selected contractor will be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the project. The scope of work includes preparing flooring surfaces, providing 14,350 sq. ft. of LVT planks, installing flooring according to manufacturer's specifications, and ensuring cleanup and proper disposal of materials and debris.
• The project requires the contractor to provide a background and qualifications, proof of required licenses, certificate of insurance, and references of similar school or institutional projects.
• The contractor must also provide a Bar Chart Schedule for their work, indicating duration in workdays, dollar value, and necessary manpower loading.
• The project must be completed on or before August 28th, 2026.
• The contractor will be required to assign any manufacturers' warranties to the School District and provide a single, local source for warranty work.
• The School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularity or informality in the bidding process.
