REAL ESTATE APPRAISAL SERVICES FOR THE MERCER COUNTY PLANNING DIVISION

The County of Mercer is seeking proposals from appraisal firms to provide general appraisal services. The successful firm(s) must have significant experience in providing appraisal services to New Jersey counties and/or other New Jersey public entities. Appraisers performing work under this contract must have MAI, SRA, or APA designation. The contract term shall be for a period of one year with an option to extend for one year. • The scope of work includes providing appraisal services associated with properties or property interests that the County seeks to acquire. • The successful firm(s) should have experience in appraisal services relating to public land acquisition, providing testimony in New Jersey Superior Court, Agricultural Land Development rights acquisition, Open Space Preservation acquisition, commercial space lease valuations, and municipal land use principles. • The County shall award contract(s) to firm or firms that best meet the needs and interests of Mercer County. • Proposers must submit a proposal that includes an executive summary, a copy of a Certificate of Insurance, and other required documents. • The evaluation criteria include understanding of the requested work, knowledge and technical competence, management, experience, and personnel qualifications, ability to complete the services in a timely manner, and cost.
