Industrial Gases and Cylinders

The City of Austin is seeking a qualified contractor to provide industrial gases and cylinders to support city operations. The contract will be for an initial term of 24 months, with the option to extend for up to three additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to supply industrial gases and cylinders. The city will provide designated delivery locations and points of contact, ensure adequate access to delivery areas, and maintain safe storage locations for cylinders. The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and recognized industry standards. Key aspects of the job include: * Providing industrial gases and cylinders that meet all applicable regulations and industry standards * Furnishing rental cylinders for various gases * Providing cylinder accessories such as regulators and protective caps * Delivering gases and cylinders to multiple city facilities * Meeting specific delivery requirements, including standard and urgent delivery orders * Providing documentation, including gas type, quantity, cylinder serial numbers, and delivery date * Meeting specific invoice requirements, including itemized gases and cylinder rental charges * Providing deliverables, including ASME manufacturer's data reports and cylinder inspection certification * Replacing damaged or defective cylinders * Maintaining a current list of city cylinders on rental
