Description
This solicitation seeks qualified consulting entities to provide comprehensive immigration legal services to residents of Minneapolis. The City requires representation in removal proceedings, asylum, naturalization, DACA, TPS, and other immigration matters, with a strong emphasis on language access, culturally competent, trauma‑informed counsel, and robust data reporting. The contract is for fiscal year 2027 with a possible extension through 2029 and a total funding envelope of approximately $396 k.
• Provide full legal representation across immigration court, BIA, and federal court.
• Deliver outreach, “Know Your Rights” sessions, and multilingual support.
• Maintain detailed performance reporting (bi‑annual) and comply with city civil‑rights and data‑privacy requirements.
• Must employ or contract licensed immigration attorneys and meet staffing cost thresholds (≥ 85 % of budget).
