INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR SENTINEL 2.0 BRIDGE CONTRACT TO HARVARD PILGRIM HEALTH CARE INC.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to award a sole source bridge contract to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Inc. to extend Sentinel 2.0 operations. The contract will provide uninterrupted service for the Sentinel system, which includes active risk identification and analysis, real-world claims and electronic health records linked data, leadership and program management, and other services. The period of performance will be for six months, with two optional six-month periods. The FDA is seeking a sole source contract to maintain current service levels until a competitive follow-on contract can be awarded. • The contract will provide services for the Sentinel system, including active risk identification and analysis, and real-world claims and electronic health records linked data. • The contract will include leadership and program management, as well as supporting federal information security modernization act (FISMA) compliance. • The period of performance will be for six months, with two optional six-month periods. • The FDA is seeking a sole source contract to maintain current service levels until a competitive follow-on contract can be awarded.
