Intent to Sole Source - USAFADS Airfield Rental

The United States Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron (USAFADS) is seeking a contractor to provide an airfield rental service for their winter training operations. The contractor will be required to furnish the airfield, facility, and support functions, including scheduler, coordinator, radio usage, and rental, facility use, hangar use, air vehicle usage, and fuel truck usage. The government will provide all communications systems necessary. The contractor must provide a location that meets specific requirements, including a minimum of 6,000 square miles of restricted airspace, low population density, a minimum of 7,000ft runway, and low humidity. The contractor must also provide office space, classroom, and dining facilities to accommodate 70-75 personnel. • The contractor must provide hangar space for equipment and FBO support. • The contractor must grant the USAFADS the right to operate at the airport and provide aeronautical services. • The contractor must provide airfield and facility access from 0400L-0000L, 7 days a week, with a response time of less than 1 hour. • The contractor must provide internet/Wi-Fi capabilities, crash recovery and fire response teams, restrooms, portable toilets, and space for catering operations. • The contractor must provide a location that has a minimum of 6,000 square miles of restricted airspace, low population density, a minimum of 7,000ft runway, and low humidity.
