CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR TEMPORARY RESTORATION OF HOUSING

The New York City Mayor’s Office of Housing Recovery Operations (HRO) is seeking qualified construction firms to provide construction services for temporary restoration of housing. The selected contractors will be required to respond to small emergency incidents and be able to scale up for catastrophic citywide emergencies. The contractors will provide repairs necessary to restore habitability, such as heat, hot water, and electrical services, in one-to-four unit residential buildings. • The RFP is for a Master Services Agreement, and HRO seeks to engage up to five qualified construction firms. • Contractors must have the capability to respond to small emergency incidents and scale up for catastrophic citywide emergencies. • Proposals will only be accepted through PASSPort, and respondents must have an account in PASSPort to submit a proposal. • Respondents are instructed to limit the information included in their proposals to the information necessary to demonstrate their technical and financial qualifications for the project.
