Description

The Army FUZE Contracting Center is seeking proposals for the JAILBREAK program, which aims to develop and deploy autonomous sensing capabilities for near-term operations. The program seeks to integrate sensors, platforms, and software to enable real-time data sharing and improve decision-making for combatant commanders. The proposal should include a white paper outlining the team's approach, operational problem understanding, proposed mission capability, and integration and architecture. The evaluation criteria will include operational value, technical approach, system of systems integration, and execution feasibility. • The program requires the development of autonomous sensing capabilities that can operate in contested and degraded environments. • The proposal should include a rough order of magnitude pricing construct for the prototype system and associated support. • The evaluation criteria will include a live pitch session, where teams will present their plan of action and respond to questions from the government panel. • The program has a compressed timeline, with a planned award date of 10 August 2026 and a planned prototype assessment date of 17 August 2026.

Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $20,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate, as the document does not provide a specific budget or pricing information. However, based on the complexity and scope of the program, it is likely that the budget will be in the millions of dollars. The program requires the development of autonomous sensing capabilities, which involves significant research and development, testing, and deployment. The rough order of magnitude pricing construct should include costs for the prototype system, logistics support, training, and field service representative support. The budget may be influenced by factors such as the number of prototype systems, the level of effort required for testing and deployment, and the cost of support services. A possible estimate for the budget could be between $5 million and $20 million, depending on the scope and complexity of the program.
