Salt River Clarks Barn Restoration and Fish Passage Project

The Salt River Clarks Barn Restoration and Fish Passage Project aims to increase fish passage at an irrigation diversion utilizing bioengineered bank stabilization techniques and floodplain restoration. The project involves removing a post-and-plank diversion dam, installing a permanent hardened riffle diversion, and treating 5,100 feet of the Salt River and 950 feet of side channel. The contractor will be required to provide construction services, including grading, construction of all structures, and demonstration of a proven safety record. • The project requires the use of natural channel design techniques, equipment with GPS capability, and appropriate equipment for working in wet conditions. • The contractor must have experience with stream restoration projects of similar scope and scale. • The project has a preferred construction window of August 1, 2025, to September 15, 2025, and/or December 1, 2025, to January 31, 2026. • The contractor will be selected based on responsiveness to the solicitation, considering cost/price, experience, qualifications, and other applicable factors.
