IT Strategic Planning Study

The City of Cambridge is seeking a vendor to conduct an IT Strategic Planning Study. The study aims to assess the current state of the City's information technology environment, identify opportunities for improvement, and establish a strategic roadmap for modernizing and strengthening the City's information technology capabilities. The selected vendor will be required to provide a comprehensive IT Strategic Plan, including strategic goals, priorities, and initiatives, as well as a multi-year strategic initiative roadmap. The study is expected to be completed over approximately three months. Key tasks include current state assessment, stakeholder engagement, benchmarking, strategic planning workshops, and development of a final strategic plan. • The City's current technology environment is complex and requires a comprehensive strategy to guide future technology investments. • The study will help the City identify opportunities for improvement and establish a strategic roadmap for modernizing and strengthening its information technology capabilities. • The selected vendor will be required to provide a comprehensive IT Strategic Plan and a multi-year strategic initiative roadmap. • The study is expected to be completed over approximately three months. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. • The City has a Living Wage Requirement that establishes minimum hourly rates for all personnel working on City contracts. • The City has a Wage Theft Prevention Certification requirement that applies to all City contracts.
