Description
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking information from qualified and experienced businesses to provide relocation and disposal services for the Kansas City Missouri FAA Regional Office. The services include relocating equipment, furniture, files, and other miscellaneous office content from the current location to a new location, as well as disposing of items no longer needed. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, transportation, supplies, and equipment necessary to complete the relocation and disposal services. The contractor will also be required to attend a post-award conference, conduct a site survey, and participate in a kickoff meeting with the FAA and building owners prior to the start of any work.
Some key points to consider:
• The relocation services will involve moving items from the 1st floor of the current location to floors 8, 9, 10, and 11 of the new location.
• The disposal services will involve disposing of items located on floors 1-5 and the basement of the current location.
• The contractor will be required to verify all quantities and provide qualified and able movers, packers, installers, and other personnel as necessary.
• The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a functioning and operable truck at all times during the move and providing all necessary transportation and material handling equipment.
• The contractor will be required to remove all trash generated from the move and participate in a post-move walk-through to determine any move-related damage.
