Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for Kidney Organ Perfusion Services. The contractor will receive organs from the donor Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) and provide perfusion services at the perfusion clinic until the Ralph H. Johnson Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (RHJ VA HCS) is ready for the organ to be delivered to the operating room. The contract is for a period of one year.
• The contractor will be responsible for receiving organs from the OPO and providing perfusion services.
• The contractor will deliver the organ directly to the operating room within 10 minutes of a mutually agreed upon time.
• The contract is for a period of one year.
• The Small Business Administration (SBA) size standard for this sector is $40M.
• Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement no later than December 10, 2025.
