Property Appraisals

The City of St. Petersburg is seeking a vendor to provide property appraisal services for insurance purposes. The vendor will be required to provide an annual update service (trending) for all buildings and structures included in the Statement of Values (SOV). The vendor must have a minimum of three years of experience in providing property appraisal services and be an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) or Accredited Member (AM) designated and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) compliant. The vendor will be responsible for providing a pricing sheet for each property or type of property, conducting background checks on employees, and providing reports in an electronic format. Some of the key services include: • Providing an annual update service (trending) for all buildings and structures included in the SOV • Conducting physical inspections of properties • Providing building detail reports and building summary reports • Determining the valuation of building/structure contents • Providing photographs of the exterior and interior of properties • Coordinating with the City's representative for availability and scheduling dates for property inspections • Completing additional property appraisals as requested by the City • Providing a written report to include all buildings and contents of each property assigned for appraisal
