The City of Palmdale is issuing an RFP for a city‑wide Managed Print Services (MPS) solution. The contract will cover the assessment, optimization, and ongoing management of the city’s entire print fleet, including hardware procurement, consumables supply, copy‑center staffing, maintenance, reporting, and training. The selected vendor must provide a turnkey solution that integrates with existing IT systems, offers secure print release, and delivers cost‑effective, reliable service across multiple municipal locations. • Conduct a fleet assessment and recommend right‑sizing, consolidation, and equipment upgrades. • Supply, install, and maintain multifunction devices and production printers, and manage all consumables (toner, paper, staples, etc.). • Staff the central copy center, provide end‑user training, and deliver detailed usage and cost reports. • Provide same‑day or next‑day service, warranty support, and a 5‑year contract term with optional extensions.
