Compressed Gases

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking sources capable of providing compressed gases to the Global Monitoring Laboratory (GML) facility in Boulder, CO. The requirement includes the supply and delivery of various types of compressed gases, including balloon-grade helium, hydrogen, research-grade helium, UHP nitrogen, ultra-zero air, and others. The contractor will be responsible for refilling and delivering compressed gas cylinders on an as-needed basis. The estimated annual quantities for each type of gas are provided in the Statement of Need. Key points to consider: • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be considered a viable source. • The contractor must provide information on their company's capabilities, experience, and qualifications to perform the work. • The contractor must meet the technical requirements specified in the Statement of Need, including the purity and quality of the compressed gases. • The contractor must comply with all safety and security regulations when delivering compressed gas cylinders to the GML facility.
