Replace Boilers and Steam Piping Central Heating Plant

The work of this single bid project includes furnishing and installing two new 500 HP high-pressure steam firetube boilers to replace the existing boilers in the heating plant, along with upgrades to the campus steam and heating distribution systems. Work includes replacement of steam distribution piping serving Bicknell Hall, East Hall, Shannon Hall, and Galbreath Hall with new direct-buried steam piping; and replacement of existing steam manhole MH-1. The project also includes conversion of the distribution system serving Oneida Hall, Mohawk Hall, and Cayuga Hall from steam to direct-buried lowtemperature water (LTW) service, including installation of an LTW heat exchanger, distribution pump, and associated direct-buried LTW piping originating at Galbreath Hall. Plans will be available after July 7, 2026, through Plan & Print Systems, Inc. (315-437-5111 & https://planandprint.com/ ). A project walk-through has been scheduled for July 15, 2026, at 10:00AM, meeting outside at Hamilton Hall near the heating plant entrance.Please confirm the date/time with the Consultant.
