Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source: AIP Lab CO2 Cylinders BPA

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to obtain CO2 gas needed for CDC Arctic Investigations Program Lab operations at the CDC Anchorage Alaska lab. The scope of work includes providing 50lb CO2 gas cylinders and refills, as needed, according to the requirements of this scope of work. The contractor must be able to provide CO2 gas delivery, replacement, and refills on an as needed basis. The contractor must also provide personal safety equipment for their employees, where applicable. • The contractor must be able to provide 50lb CO2 gas cylinders and refills, as needed. • The contractor must be certified and authorized to handle, transport, and dispose of CO2, solid or gaseous. • The contractor must provide personal safety equipment for their employees, where applicable. • The contractor must be able to deliver CO2 gas cylinders to the government site, but only on days on which government operations are being conducted. • The contractor must comply with all CDC rules with respect to access and personnel.
