Flood Control Barriers

The Sacramento County Office of Emergency Services is seeking flood control barriers for Delta projects. The project aims to provide flood fight material stockpiles and equipment for the region, as well as flood fighting capabilities to Reclamation Districts and small communities. The contractor will be responsible for delivering and installing the flood control barriers, which include HESCO SL4836, HESCO MIL5, and HESCO JACKBOX JB3939 or equivalent barriers. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Some key features of the project include: • Providing flood fight material stockpiles and equipment for the region • Providing flood fighting capabilities to Reclamation Districts and small communities • Delivering and installing flood control barriers • Maintaining a materials and equipment inventory • Tracking flood fighting materials and equipment taken by Reclamation Districts • Replenishing inventory as needed
