Encampment Cleanup Program

The City of Gilroy is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide on-call cleanup services for encampment sites and illegal dumping sites within the City. The services required are on an on-call basis but would be scheduled with at least 72-hour advanced notice. The successful Contractor will be expected to enter into the City’s standard agreement. Key responsibilities include surveying sites, collecting debris, dismantling temporary structures, removal of trash, removal of human waste, and state-approved handling and removal of all material. • Provide on-call cleanup services for encampment sites and illegal dumping sites • Survey sites, collect debris, dismantle temporary structures, remove trash and human waste • Handle and remove materials in accordance with CAL-OSHA and other applicable laws • Provide reports and documentation of work performed • Comply with all safety rules, protocols, and licensing requirements mandated by the City, Santa Clara County, and the State of California
