Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is seeking a contractor to provide forklift rental services and maintenance services for government-owned equipment at the Cheatham Annex Facility in Williamsburg, VA. The contractor will be responsible for renting forklifts, performing routine maintenance, and repairing government-owned forklifts. The contract will be for a base year with four option years. The contractor must be able to provide a variety of forklifts with different capacities and fuel types. Some key requirements include:
• Providing a catalog of inventory for emergent rentals within 72 hours
• Providing replacement MHE for contractor-owned (rental) MHE in disrepair
• Maintaining a 95% MHE availability rate for government-owned MHE
• Responding to MHE corrective maintenance call-outs within 48 hours
• Completing repairs within 2 weeks
• Conducting quarterly MHE inspections
• Performing runtime-based MHE maintenance
• Completing preventative maintenance activities on time
• Properly disposing of hazardous waste generated during onsite maintenance.
The contractor will be evaluated on their performance based on these requirements, and the contract may be terminated if the contractor fails to meet the standards.
