Description
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, intends to issue a sole-source contract for police radio system maintenance at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. The contract will be for a one-year base period from December 1, 2025, to November 30, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for providing regular and emergency maintenance, repairs, and testing of Motorola Astro Core P25 equipment. The contractor must have technical training and experience in maintenance, inspection, and testing of Motorola radio systems and its components. The contract will be a firm fixed price contract, and the government will only pay for services rendered.
• The contractor shall guarantee a 3-hour response time for emergency callback requests.
• The contractor shall perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and testing of the equipment.
• The contractor shall provide a toll-free telephone number for service calls.
• The contractor shall maintain a log of all work performed and submit it to the Contracting Officer Representative.
• The contractor shall adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards.
