DFAS General Accounting & Finance System - Modernization (GAFS-M)

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of providing products and/or services for the General Finance & Accounting System Modernization (GAFS-M). The RFI is issued for market research and acquisition planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Interested vendors are encouraged to review the attached document and submit responses in accordance with the instructions provided. The project involves modernizing the GAFS system, which currently uses Job Control Language (JCL) and Unisys system utilities. The vendor will be expected to lead or support the RMF/ATO documentation package and provide post-migration sustainment support. • The RFI is open to responses for Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) solutions. • There is no incumbent contractor currently supporting the GAFS system. • The contractor will be responsible for providing supporting artifacts. • The SaaS/software would need to be FedRAMP and DoW approved at the levels indicated within the RFI. • DFAS can commit to emergency fixes only during conversion.
