Description
The City of Los Angeles is seeking bids for the renovation of the Las Palmas Senior Center, located at 1820 N. Las Palmas, Los Angeles, CA 90028. The project involves upgrading the building envelope, including the roof, storefront system, and MEP systems, as well as renovating exterior patios and walkways, converting the existing shuffleboard area to an exercise area with a photovoltaic shade structure, restriping the existing parking lot, and adding two EV chargers. The contractor must possess a valid State of California Contractor's License Classification of "B". The bid documents are available on the Regional Alliance Marketplace for Procurement (www.RAMPLA.org).
• Upgrade building envelope - roof, storefront system, MEP systems
• Electrify building, removing gas
• Renovate exterior patios and walkways
• Convert existing shuffleboard area to exercise area with photovoltaic shade structure
• Restripe existing parking lot, add (2) EV chargers
• Construct new CMU trash enclosure, provide exterior storage at new exercise area
