Description
The Town of Tazewell is seeking a qualified firm to provide both a crane and crane operating services for the one-time lifting and placement of an approximately 45,000 lb. PRV Vault. The PRV Vault will be lifted by crane from a delivery trailer on the day of delivery and lowered into place onsite thereafter immediately.
• The crane and crane operating services are required for the Rt. 460 Waterline Replacement Project within the town of Tazewell, Virginia.
• The Town of Tazewell does not have a specific date for the PRV Vault delivery and installation but can provide an anticipated date range of December 2, 2025, through December 19, 2025.
• A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on November 21, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. to provide an opportunity for firms to assess the site location and develop a crane operating services plan.
• Quotes submitted must include a total that reflects all surcharges, including any delivery fees.
