Description

The County of Riverside is soliciting quotations for the one-time purchase of one Thermo Scientific TruDefender FTX handheld chemical analyzer. This acquisition is a critical replacement for existing equipment that has reached its end-of-life cycle. The established quotations will allow the Department to order directly from the lowest, most responsible, and responsive bidder. Key features of the required analyzer include a spectral range of 4,000cm-1 to 650cm-1, spectral resolution of 4cm-1, and onboard mixture analysis capability. • The analyzer must be a Thermo Scientific TruDefender FTX handheld chemical analyzer, with no substitutions accepted. • The purchase is grant-funded by the County of Riverside Emergency Management Department - FY24 State Homeland Security Program Grant (SHSP). • The contract award is contingent upon the lowest bidder meeting all bid specifications. • The bidder must provide a warranty that includes all parts and labor, and handle all repairs/services of equipment under warranty.
