The United States Coast Guard is seeking to purchase 2000 feet of RUBRAIL, specifically the DB 50 BLACK TAPERED D W/KEY BORE 40’ LONG, P/N 802005001-40, NSN 2040-01-642-3078. The vendor must provide the complete requirement, meet the required time frame, and offer the best price. The purchase order will be awarded based on best value, considering factors such as price, delivery time, and compatibility. The following are key requirements for the purchase: • The RUBRAIL must be individually packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E. • The packaging must include cushioning materials, dunnage, blocking, and bracing to protect the items and restrict movement within the container. • The items must be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-129R and barcoded. • Deliveries must be made between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. • Invoices must be submitted through the Invoicing Payment Portal (IPP) and must include the purchase order number, vendor's invoice number, cage number, PO item number, description of supplies or services, unit prices, and extended totals.
