Description
The Norfolk Naval Shipyard is seeking a single source solicitation for the procurement of a Service and Maintenance contract for a Liquid Scintillation Counting System. The contract includes preventative maintenance visits, discounts on installation and operation qualifications, unlimited support, and labor, travel, and parts are fully covered. The contract has a period of performance of 365 days from the award date. The contractor will be responsible for notifying the NNSY point of contact prior to entering the shipyard for escort to the job site.
• The contract includes one annual preventative maintenance inspection.
• The contractor will provide visual and electrical inspections, alignment, calibration, and thorough testing to minimize downtime and ensure optimum performance.
• The contractor will be responsible for submitting invoices using the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system.
• The contract has a fixed price arrangement.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to security and export control.
