PERISCOPE SUBASSEMB

The U.S. Navy is soliciting proposals for the PERISCOPE SUBASSEMB. The material covered in this contract will be used in a crucial shipboard system, and the use of incorrect or defective material could result in serious personnel injury, loss of life, or loss of vital shipboard systems. The contractor must provide a certificate of compliance certifying that the items/components furnished under this contract comply with the requirements of the procurement document. The contract requires the contractor to maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001, with the calibration system requirements of ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 with ISO-17025. Key requirements include: • Quantitative and qualitative data of all mechanical, chemical, and performance tests performed to prove that the material supplied conforms to the specified requirements. • Traceability markings on the material to provide direct traceability to the material's chemical composition and mechanical properties certification data. • Compliance with various military and federal specifications and standards, including MIL-STD-792 and FED-STD-H28. • Submission of certification data via WAWF (Wide Area Work Flow) prior to each shipment of material. • Notification of DCMA upon contract award.
