Description
The California Department of Health Care Services is seeking a qualified contractor to manage the full lifecycle of Medi‑Cal program publications and ensure they are accessible to all audiences. The work covers creation, editing, updating, translation, readability enhancements, and production of ADA‑compliant electronic and printed materials, including audio‑CD mailings. The contractor must handle secure data exchange, maintain privacy, and submit monthly performance reports.
• Revise existing Medi‑Cal publications and develop new ones per DHCS direction.
• Provide translation, XDP development, and alternative‑format services for roughly 4,500 pages per source document.
• Produce, format, and mail high‑volume items (e.g., 1095‑B) and audio‑CDs, with quarterly peaks and a January peak.
• Maintain cybersecurity insurance, comply with state‑wide lobbying and DVBE requirements, and deliver a Take‑Over Plan within 30 days of contract execution.
