Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking vendors to provide maintenance and repair services for the Triennial Panel Survey and Assessment at the Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Chicago, IL. The scope of work includes updating panel schedules, tracing circuits, and testing and certifying panels to meet National Electrical Code compliance codes. The contractor will also conduct tri-annual electrical tests and maintenance, including infrared scanning and transformer testing. The period of performance is from May 1st, 2026, to April 30th, 2027.
Key tasks and deliverables include:
• Updating panel schedules to meet industry standards
• Tracing each circuit and every switch/outlet/receptacle to their corresponding circuit breaker
• Testing and certifying panels to meet National Electrical Code compliance codes
• Conducting tri-annual electrical tests and maintenance
• Providing a report on all electrical panel locations in every building
