Description
The Jeff Davis County Board of Education is seeking a vendor to provide new school furniture for the Jeff Davis Primary School. The scope of work includes furnishing 42 regular classrooms, 12 PreK classrooms, administrative offices, conference rooms, workrooms, front office spaces, media center, music room, art room, connections rooms, flex rooms, and resource rooms. The vendor should provide quotes for the specified furniture, including delivery, placement, installation, and assembly. The proposal should include pricing, terms, and conditions that remain valid for 180 days from the date of delivery. The selection process will be based on factors such as qualifications, experience, references, design, product selection, warranty, and cost proposal.
Key requirements include:
• K-2 Regular Classrooms: 42 classrooms with 24 desks/chairs, teacher's desk/chair, and two kidney tables
• PreK Classrooms: 12 classrooms with 2 rectangular tables and 20 chairs, teacher's desk/chair, and two kidney tables
• Administrative Offices: 3 offices with administrative desk, desk chair, two visitor chairs, and one 5-shelf bookcase
• Conference Rooms: 2 rooms with appropriately sized tables and chairs
• Workroom: 1 room with an appropriately sized table and chairs
• Front office spaces: 4 spaces with desk, desk chair, one 5-shelf bookcase, and two visitor chairs
• Media Center: bookcases for approximately 20,000 primary school-age books, circulation desk, and flexible seating
• Music Room: 40 age-appropriate chairs and 10 rectangular tables
• Art Room: 40 age-appropriate chairs and 10 rectangular tables
• Connections Rooms: 3 rooms with 6 rectangular tables and 24 chairs per room
• Flex Rooms: 2 rooms with 3 round tables and 12 adult chairs per room
• Resource Rooms: 3 rooms with 4 rectangular tables and 16 chairs per room
• Flex Classrooms: 2 rooms with 6 rectangular tables and 24 chairs per room
• Cafeteria: 24 mobile/folding tables with seating for 12 at each table
