Next Generation Surveillance Array (NGSA)

The Next Generation Surveillance Array (NGSA) is a passive towed twin-line acoustic sensor designed for use within the Surveillance Towed Array Sensor System (SURTASS) Program. The proposed NGSA contract will utilize a Government-developed design that leverages Open Architecture Telemetry (OAT) to produce a replacement multi-line array for fielding on Auxiliary General Ocean Surveillance (T-AGOS) ships and other SURTASS host platforms. • The NGSA is a passive towed twin-line acoustic sensor. • The NGSA is designed for use within the SURTASS Program. • The proposed contract will utilize a Government-developed design. • The design will leverage Open Architecture Telemetry (OAT). • The NGSA will be fielded on T-AGOS ships and other SURTASS host platforms.
