Description
The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is seeking a qualified contractor to perform comprehensive repairs and renovations on the GPDECK parking structure that serves its Paratransit Maintenance Facility. The scope includes concrete crack and spall repair, ramp top removal and replacement, masonry repointing, sealant and flashing work, rebar replacement, structural bolting, power washing, and new parking‑lot striping. Several optional alternates (heat‑trace, EV charging, snow‑melt equipment, additional concrete work) are also included. The project must be executed while the deck remains operational, requiring phased lane‑by‑lane work or full ramp shutdown schedules, and must start shortly after award (June 2026) with completion targeted for fall 2026.
