Culvert Replacement Meadow Creek

The project involves replacing a failed culvert at Meadow Creek, located on West Dolores Road (NFSR 535) at milepost 24.72 within the San Juan National Forest. The culvert replacement requires a steel polycoated culvert to resist rusting from the mineral content in the stream. A bypass road will be constructed to allow continued traffic throughout the project duration, which is anticipated to last 26 days. The project includes rip-rap collection on-site and commercially purchased road base for surfacing. • The project requires a firm-fixed-price contract. • The small business size standard is $45M. • The project is set aside for small business concerns. • The contractor must have an active entity registration in SAM.gov at the time of offer. • The contractor must submit a technical proposal, including a narrative and schedule, as well as a business/price proposal. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and a bid guarantee. • The government reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and make an award to other than the lowest offeror.
