Perdido Landfill & Palafox Transfer Stations Scale Maintenance- 2nd Re-Solicit

Escambia County Waste Services is seeking a contractor for annual maintenance and repair of truck scales at the Perdido Landfill and Palafox Transfer Station. The contractor will be responsible for inspecting, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing the scales, as well as providing emergency response services. The contract will be for a period of 36 months, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor must have a physical office within 300 miles of the landfill and be capable of responding to emergency service requests within 4-6 hours. • The scope of work includes preventive maintenance services, annual maintenance requirements, and emergency repair services. • The contractor must provide written calibration and test results for each scale serviced, as well as a written report documenting any deficiencies and recommended repairs. • The contractor must also provide a written quotation for any non-emergency maintenance and repair services, including diagnosis and description of the problem, cost of replacement parts and materials, travel charges, hourly labor rates, and mobilization charges.
