Mogadishu Somalia Lodging Facility Construction

The proposed contract action is for construction services to design and build a hardened lodging facility in Mogadishu, Somalia. The facility will be located inside the Mogadishu International Airport's Green Zone. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-2. The expected magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. • The work will provide for Design-Build construction of a hardened lodging facility. • The facility will be located in Mogadishu, Somalia, inside the Mogadishu International Airport's Green Zone. • The proposed sole source contractor is expected to be able to mobilize and begin performance immediately upon award. • The NAICS Code for this procurement is 236220 and the annual size standard is $45,000,000. • The PSC Code for this work is Z2JZ Repair or Alteration of Miscellaneous Buildings.
